Terms of Service

Welcome to Neurokind Home Solutions (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our body doubling, decluttering and organisation services (Services), you (The Client) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service (Terms). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Services Provided
Neurokind Home Solutions offers body doubling and professional decluttering and organising services, which may include home organisation, decluttering, and related consulting. The scope of each service will be outlined in a written agreement or discussed before service commencement.
1.2. General scope of service includes:
- We will provide large bin bags, boxes or other appropriate items for use in disposing of rubbish and donations
- Light cleaning is included, such as wiping surfaces and dusting.
- We will supply limited appropriate cleaning products such as surface spray and cleaning clothes.
- Should more specialised cleaning and/or cleaning products be required this will be discussed with The Client, afterwhich it may become The Client’s responsibility to supply such items.
- We can assemble small furniture and simple implement storage solutions, but large furniture assembly is not part of our standard service unless agreed upon by us and The Client.
- If the assemblement of large furniture is considered a reasonable request, this will be subject to an additional fee by agreement.
2. Client Responsibilities
By using our Services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your space and needs.
- Ensure that all items to be handled are safe and free from hazardous materials.
- Have the authority to approve disposal, donation, or relocation of items.
- Provide access to the premises at agreed-upon times.
- Ensure that pets are contained during sessions to provide a safe and efficient working environment.
Failure to carry out these responsibilities may result in Neurokind Home Solutions cancelling the Services without notice.
3. Payment Terms
- Fees for Services will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
- A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
- Payments must be made in full upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
- Cancellations made by the client within 48 hours of the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.
4. Travel Fees
- Addresses further than 20km from Thurgoona will incur a travel fee, which will be discussed and agreed upon before service booking.
5. Additional Supplies & Procurement
- If additional storage or organizational supplies (e.g., storage systems, furniture, containers) are required for your project, we can acquire these on your behalf.
- The cost of these items will be billed to you along with an additional 15% procurement fee.
- All purchases will be discussed and approved by The Client before acquisition
6. Rubbish & Donation Disposal
- We offer limited removal and disposal of rubbish and donation items as part of our service.
- This service is limited to one carload of items. If additional removal is required, the client is responsible for arranging disposal, or can request assistance to organise removal of items for an additional fee.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Clients must notify us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel an appointment, failure to do so may incur a cancellation or rescheduling fee.
- In the case we can not attend the session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergencies, severe weather, etc.) every reasonable effort will be made to reschedule your appointment for a suitable time, and no rescheduling fee will apply.
8. Liability & Limitations
- While we take great care in handling your items, we are not liable for accidental damage, loss, or breakage unless due to negligence.
- We do not handle hazardous, illegal, or perishable items.
- Clients assume full responsibility for decisions related to item disposal or donation.
- We are not responsible for the consequences of decluttering decisions (e.g., sentimental regrets, resale value loss, etc.).
9. Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and will keep all client information and details of the service confidential. We will not share any personal or sensitive information without your consent, except as required by law.
10. Use of Photos
- We may take before-and-after photos for internal use or marketing purposes, but only with prior client consent.
- No identifying information will be included in published images.
11. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if:
- The working environment is deemed unsafe by us.
- The client is disrespectful, abusive, or uncooperative.
- Any illegal activity is suspected or encountered.
- The client does not adhere to the ‘Client Responsibilities’ listed in this document.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
